years of solidarity, cooperation and development” opened in Hanoi on December 30
to mark the 50th anniversary of diplomatic ties between Vietnam and Cuba (Dec.
2, 1960 - Dec. 2, 2010).

Hanoi aims to lure more visitors
Hanoi capital has turned 1,000 years old with more
than 5,100 long-term historical relics, 700 landscapes at national level, 1,300
traditional craft villages.

The number of foreign visitors to Hanoi in 2010 is
estimated at 1.2 million, up 18.42 percent against 2009, while the number of
domestic tourists to the city is expected to increase by 15.22 percent to 10.6
million.

Hanoi to prioritize cultural and eco-tourism
Hanoi will prioritize the development of cultural
and eco-tourism in the coming years, Mr. Mai Tiến Dũng, Vice Director of the

Hanoi's Old Quarter is hosting a tea ceremony and
an exhibition of vintage timepieces until Nov. 27, as well as a discussion of
