Quang Ninh applies decision adjusting entry fees in Ha Long Bay

The Quang Ninh Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism has organized a meeting to implement Decision 2269/2013/QD-UBND of the provincial people’s committee on regulating entry fees to the famous landscapes in Ha Long Bay and Bai Tu Long.
At the meeting, a representative of the department of culture, sports, tourism popularized the decision and its contents on applying entry fees to the famous landscapes.
Accordingly, the decision will take effect as of January 1, 2014.
Specifically, visitors to Ha Long Bay and Bai Tu Long will buy entry tickets priced USD3.80 - 5.70 each.
The decision will apply no admission charge for revolutionary contributors and children under 7 years old, 50 percent fees for children from 7 to 15 years old, elderly above 70 years old, the poor, and disabled people.
At the meeting, representatives from the department of culture, sports and tourism, the Ha Long Bay managing board and relevant agencies answered questions about entry fees to routes and necessary legal procedures for enterprises./..
