Itinerary
Day 1: Hanoi Arrival (D)
Transfer to your hotel in the city center. A Cyclo Tour in the Old Quarter to visit Ngoc Son Temple, the Lake of Restored Swords and enjoy a unique show of Water Puppetry in the evening.
Overnight at hotel in Hanoi.
Day 2: Hanoi - Halong Bay (B, L, D)
Morning drive to Halong Bay, a World Heritage with thousands of limestone and dolomite island and islets. Stop on the way to visit Ceramic workshop at Dong Trieu. Get on board, start cruise Halong Bay. Lunch with fresh sea food. Cruise the splendid bay to visit its breathtaking seascape created by the rocky islands and emerald calm water, with stopovers to visit the grottoes inside islands and swimming.
Over night on board.
Day 3: Halong Bay - Hanoi (B, L)
Enjoy sunrise in one of the most beautiful Bays in the World then continue to explore the Bay with many strange-shaped islets (Dog, man’s head, hen and cock…). Have Brunch before check-out. Transfer back to Hanoi.
Overnight at hotel in Hanoi.
Day 4: Hanoi – Hoa Lu, Tam Coc (B, L)
Morning drive to Ninhbinh, the capital city of ancient Vietnam before Hanoi took its leading role in 11th century. The area is featured by lots of well-known sceneries, which include Tam Coc Caves and Hoa Lu ancient capital with the old Temples dedicated to King Dinh & King Le reigned in 10th century.

Day 5: Hanoi - Vientiane (B, L)
Free time till transfer to airport for flight to Vientian. Meet on arrival at Wattay International Airport in Vientiane, the peaceful capital of the People’s Democratic Republic of Laos and transfer to hotel. After lunch start a sightseeing tour of Vientiane including Vat Sisaket, with its thousands of miniature Buddha statues, Vat Prakeo, Vat Simuang, the That Luang Monument and Vientiane’s own Arc de Triomphe, the Patouxai Monument.

Day 6: Vientiane – Luang Prabang (B, L)
Transfer to Wattay Airport for a morning flight to the former Royal Capital, Luang Prabang. Transfer to hotel before setting out to explore some of the sights of this peaceful, provincial city. The former Royal Palace, now the National Museum, Vat Xieng Thong, Vat Sen, Vat Visun and Mount Phousi with panoramic views over the city should not be missed.
Overnight in Luang Prabang.
Day 7: Luang Prabang (B, L)
Take the traditional boat trip upstream on the mighty Mekong River to visit the mysterious caves of Pak-Ou, located at the side of the steep cliff on the bank of the Mekong River housing thousands of gold lacquered Buddha statues that crammed into the two caves carved out of a towering limestone cliff. They range in size from a few centimeters to the size of a human. Picnic lunch at the bamboo cottage at the bank of the river. Visit en route local rice-wine distillery and Ban Phanom weaving village, where traditional Lao textiles are woven on ancient wooden looms. Return to hotel in the late afternoon.
Overnight in Luang Prabang.
Day 8: Luang Prabang - Vientiane (B, L)
An early morning visit to Luang Prabang Market or visit the National museum (the former Kings' palace) before having lunch in Luang Prabang and transfer to the airport for flight to Vientiane. Transferred to hotel in Vientiane. Afternoon free for more exploration or shopping. Dinner and overnight in Vientiane.
Day 9: Vientiane Departure (B)
After breakfast visit the Morning Market before transfer to the airport for departure flight.
