Ha Long to host 2015 Carnaval

The 2015 Carnaval Ha Long, is set to open on April 27 on Hoang Quoc Viet Street, Hung Thang Ward, Ha Long City, Quang Ninh Province.
According to Quang Ninh provincial People’s Committee, Carnaval Ha Long is considered the highlight of tourism activities in 2015 in Quang Ninh province.
This year’s carnaval will include an opening ceremony, fireworks, art performances on stage and dynamic live street performances that promise to offer visitors an eventful festival atmosphere.
Most notably, the street display themed ‘Ha Long Smile’ will feature nearly ten carriages decorated with flowers, art performance and the participation of over 50 misses and models and more than 2,000 extras.
The Carnaval Ha Long has become part of Quang Ninh’s tourism brand. The previous carnival attracted tens of thousands of domestic and international visitors.
The annual event offers an opportunity to promote the native culture to visitors.
