Lao people respond to voting for Ha Long bay
Many campaigns to promote voting for Vietnam’s Ha Long Bay as one
of the new seven natural wonders of the world are being launched among Lao
pupils and students as well as other social organizations in Laos.

The MoCST launches voting campaign for Ha Long Bay
The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism on October 11
organized an online ceremony to launch the voting campaign for Ha Long Bay to be
a new natural wonder of the world. Three cities of Ha Noi, Da Nang and Ho Chi
Minh City joined the online ceremony.

Halong Bay to collect more votes in China
To promote and call for more votes for Halong Bay as one of the
Seven New Natural Wonders of the World, various activities have been held in
Nanning City, Guangxi Province, China.

Ha Long tourism week promises attractions
The northern province of Quang Ninh has invested 138 billion VND
(6.6 million USD) in building an outdoor art laser light stage, which will make
its debut at the coastal area of Ha Long Bay on the night of May 2.

The annual carnival in the northern coastal city of Ha Long
(Quang Ninh province) this year will attract nearly 3,000 performers, including
nearly 1,000 professional artists from Hanoi.

The Vietnam National Administration of Tourism (VNAT)
and the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism launched a
campaign on April 9 to promote tourism and voting for Ha Long Bay as a natural
wonder of the world.

Five-star “SuperStar Aquarius” docks in Ha Long
The leading domestic tour operator, Saigontourist,
welcomed 2,200 foreign tourists and crew (mainly from China) on the five-star
cruise ship, the “SuperStar Aquarius”, that docked in the Cai Lan Port, Ha Long
City on April 3rd.
