CON DAO SELECTED AS AN IMPRESSIVE REGIONAL DESTINATION

The island of Con Dao, a very historical Vietnamese place with an infamous prison from a previous regime, has just been selected by the New York Times magazine as one of the most impressive tourist destinations in South East Asia.
Earlier, the Vietnamese Government has also approved the master plan to develop the island toward 2020 with a number of key tourist projects.
Under the plan, the island is allowed to mobilise maximum local and international resources to quickly develop into an economic, high-quality tourist and services zone.
And, in fact, the number of domestic and international visitors to the island has been increasing with the increase in the number of flights to the island from HCMC.
