Russian travel firm re-opens in Phan Thiet

Lanta Viet Travel Company, the branch of Lanta Tour Voyage – one of the leading Russian tour operators, re-opened yesterday, Feb 3, in central Binh Thuan Province's Phan Thiet City.
The move aims to serve Russian tourists who remain stranded at local resorts after their tour operator Lanta Tour Voyage declared bankruptcy on January 27.
The company has agreed to complete procedures necessary to allow the next 60 stranded Russian tourists return their country today, said Konstantin Prihodko, director of the Lanta Viet Travel Company.
The company suddenly ceased operating last Saturday, leaving 309 Russian tourists stranded in the city.
