Son La provincial culture introduced at Viet Nam Museum of Ethnology

On the occasion of Lunar New Year 2017, the Viet Nam Museum of Ethnology coordinated with Son La provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to organize a programme to celebrate Tet, in association with Son La provincial culture, from February 4th to 5th.
The highlight of the programme is dancing, singing of Thai ethnic minority group, specific culture of Kho Mu ethnic minority group, and musical instrument performance and folk games of Mong ethnic minority group.
The event also drew the participation of artisans from the northern province of Hai Duong to performance the traditional game.
Participants also enjoyed other activities such as asking for calligraphy, and enjoying cultural exchange with artisans in Dong Ho painting of Vietnamese people in the northern province of Bac Ninh. Children also took part in kneading To he, drawing and painting hens and roosters./..
