The Dong Duong Cuiser Joint-Stock Company launched electric car
service to serve visitors to visit Ha Long City on June 18th.
30 electric cars have been put into operation to serve people and tourists to
visit historical relic site, trade centers and tourist attractions in Ha Long
City. Each electric car is capable of transporting 13 passengers.
During the tour, passengers will be listened introduction about tourist
attractions, features in culture and cuisine in the locality. Initially, there
are 10 electric cars serving in Hon Gai on three tours lasting from 30 to 60
minutes between 8am and 10pm everyday.
Speaking at the launching ceremony, the leader of the provincial Department of
Culture, Sports and Tourism highly appreciated the service and affirmed that
this was a new transport service contributing to increasing attraction and
prolonging accommodation time of visitors when arriving Ha Long city as well as
creating new images of green tourism./..
